Watch New The Walking Dead: World Beyond Trailer
After waiting patiently for the date info for the elusive Season 10, Episode 16,The Walking Dead Fans can now look forward. Season 6 of Fear The Walking Dead has a new direction, The Walking Dead: World Beyond wants to give answers.
Today Amazon Prime UK has released the The Walking Dead spin-off series . In the early pre-lockdown days they promised a whole new world and the Trailer looks to live to that promise.
The series promises to show off the next generation of survivors, young teens who leave the safety of the place they called home. To save their father and facing the dangers of the post apocalyptic world they now live in.
The trailer does give us a taster of the tone of that series. Obviously this series is aiming at the Young Adult audience so it’s hard to see how dark they will go. Going by ratings this looks a 12A/15 rated show so it will be dark and gritty.
The 2020 Comic-Con was held online over the weekend, where the series premiered a shorter trailer. There was also a Panel which cast and crew had a chat about the up and coming first season. The one promise we learn from the video, the series hopes to answer those questions/mysteries of the main show. The one potential question is the group we believe that Jadis has been in contact with. Yes the helicopter people that took Rick Grimes!
Could Jadis be in this series? Possibly not as we don’t know what period of time this series will be in. Plus the series name is a clue, ‘The World Beyond’!
A group of teenagers sheltered from the dangers of the post-apocalyptic world receive a message that inspires them to leave the safety of the only home they have ever known and embark on a cross-country journey to save their father.
The series stars Julia Ormond, Nico Tortorella, Annet Mehendru, Alexa Mansour, Aliyah Royale, Hal Cumpston, and Nicolas Cantu. Jordan Vogt-Roberts directed the pilot episode, with Matt Negrete the main director and series showrunner.
Amazon Prime hasn’t revealed the UK launch date just yet. However as they have launched the Trailer we’re expecting them to announce the date shortly. If you live in the USA, AMC will be premiering the first episode on 4th October.
