As an independently run website, we put all of the money we earn into the upkeep of the site and keeping the lights on, so to speak, so we have set up some ways to help support us should you feel generous enough to do so.

We have made some big changes to the site already in 2025 but in the current climate of journalism changing updates to Google has made it harder for sites like us to get noticed as much with SEO (Search Engine Optimisation), and other strains on us in 2024, we are desperate to keep the site running for both us and our writers but also you guys who are the lifeblood of the site.

But we have started the year excited and with renewed energy with new writers, editing team, and our brand new site layout and we want nothing more than to continue to bring you all the best from the worlds of film, TV, and streaming.

Many of you have asked if we do take money contributions, yes we do. You can do that either via PayPal or Buy Me A Coffee, links you will always find on the home page. Some sites might paint those contributions in return for “incentives”, we may do in the future, but with these links, any contributions go straight back into the site. It’s not just to keep The Peoples Movies up and running, but also to support our podcast, The Chronicle, which we want to keep alive also. No matter how large or small, it all counts and we thank anyone who contributes. It is so greatly appreciated. We hope to have a Patreon up and running this year, too.
