Independence Day: Resurgence First Trailer! There Back!

We always knew it but its taking them 20 years, the war of 1996 maybe fading memory but for the aliens, it’s revenge time Independence Day: Resurgence First Trailer has arrived! 20 years in making, endless unexpected sequels and remakes , this is one sequel we’ve been looking forward too things have gotten bigger!

Finally the first look at the new invasion is finally here and since the master of destruction unleashed ID4 technology has drastically improved. Rolland Emmerich wrote the guide book to invade and smash and this new promo does the job to remind of his god like powers and the license to deliver nostalgia in the right places…

We always knew they were coming back. After Independence Day redefined the event movie genre, the next epic chapter Independence Day: Resurgence delivers global spectacle on an unimaginable scale. Using recovered alien technology, the nations of Earth have collaborated on an immense defense program to protect the planet. But nothing can prepare us for the aliens’ advanced and unprecedented force. Only the ingenuity of a few brave men and women can bring our world back from the brink of extinction.

What we learned  from this promo the human race took advantage of the advanced technology left behind from the war of 1996 however the aliens themselves have had the upgrade in technology, bigger than ever making the threat worse than before plus don’t be surprised if they have a few new tricks up their sleeves too! So even our new weapons won’t stop these invaders once again attempting to steal our resources, we’re like sitting ducks and this time they want to finish the job off!

The old faces give the new film authentic nostalgia, ticking the expectations boxes for an Emmerich invasion flick.Polished for the 21st Century disaster/invasion blockbuster movie fan, question is will people be ready and accepting of this sequel? It’s going to be a hard slog with so many mega blockbusters next Summer been released, but we have confidence will leave a destructive path in 2016 hopefully critically and at the box office too!

As for the returning familiar faces, Jeff Goldblum, Bill Pullman(sporting a nice beard), Vivica A. Fox, Brent Spiner and Judd Hirsch. As for the new faces Liam Hemsworth, Vivica A. Fox,Charlotte Gainsbourg, Jessie Usher, Maika Monroe, Sela Ward. No Will Smith here however Independence Day: Resurgence does show the chemistry and humour we love is still there!
