Donald Glover To Adapt ‘PUBG’ Live-Action Series
According to Variety, Netflix and Donald Glover are developing a live-action series based on the battle royale video game PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, with Glover to star.
The report states that Glover and his brother Stephen Glover will write and executive produce the show, with Donald also due to direct. It will be interesting to see what happens with this project, and what story it will follow, as the game does not have a plot. Instead, it sees a large number of players dropped into one of several maps featuring a wide array of weapons, vehicles and other items in a last-man-standing deathmatch. It’s been one of the most popular video games in the world over the last 10 years, with multiple Guinness World Records being won for its active daily users.
