The Walking Dead Cast Thank Fans In 100 Episodes Video

There’s no denying we can’t wait for Season 8 of The Walking Dead with episode one just under 3 months away. Did you know the new season premiere episode will be the TV shows 100th Episode? As the cast sweat their way through the Georgian sun finishing off whats left of the upcoming season, Some took the time to thank fans for a new video.

In the video, we hear Andrew Lincoln (yes folks in his native English tongue), Norman Reedus, Melissa McBride, Chandler Riggs, Lauren Graham, Danai Gurira and Jeffrey Dean Morgan. All sharing their love for the show and with The Walking Dead Family, you the fans.

Season 7 divided fans and critics which found the long running but still very popular television show pick up some of its lowest ratings. Even Junk press rags like The Sun threw their two cents worth in demanding the show be cancelled due to the graphic violence is seen in episode one. Funnily enough, it took the newspaper 7 years to react! The majority of the ‘Family’ stuck with the show and are hopeful the new season will deliver and looking at the recent trailer they look like they’ll deliver!

Scott Gimple, the TWD Showrunner has already promised the new season will follow the ‘All Out War’ story arc and recently to Entertainment Weekly he revealed a little more. The new arc the powers to be they will return to ‘action heavy’ episodes (which the trailer teased). โ€˜Itโ€™s massively heavy on action,โ€™ Gimple said, further stating even the so called ‘quieter’ episodes (episode 5). Gimple wanted to push the show in many directions like the previous seasons and in episode one ‘Old Man Rick’ arc will be addressed. Creator Robert Kirkman teasing that the ‘time jump’ from the comic book may not be in the tv version.

The Walking Dead Season 8 will premiere on Fox in the UK on 23rd October with American debut, the night before on AMC.
