The People’s Movies Worst Films Of 2025 [The Writers]

Where there are great films, terrible ones follow. Did that happen in 2025? A couple of days ago, we gave you our favourites: now it’s time for the Worst Films of 2025.

As we say every time we have a list, the choices are personal ones, what’s on the list should be divisive.  One person’s favourite film could be another person’s nightmare and vice versa.  Every year there’s a few films which are a dead cert to be either list and 2025 is no different!

What does a film have to do to get on this list? It has to be released in the UK and Ireland in 2025 (1st January until 26th December. And that includes home entertainment and streaming releases, as well as those screened at festivals.

Do you agree with our choices? If not, what films would you have on the list? Share your thoughts in the comments – and Happy New Year!
