Payback Time In Jason Statham’s UK Parker Trailer & Featurette

Coming next March Jason Statham will do what he does best kick some bad guy’s ass when Parker hits UK cinemas and today get another look at the film with a new UK Trailer. Statham plays the titular role, Parker a ‘honourable’ thief who has a code of conduct portraying himself as a ‘Robin Hood’ style thief not stealing and hurting people who can’t afford or deserve it. During the biggest heist he’s taken Parker finds himself left for dead when his crew double cross him who seeks revenge on those who backstabbed him.

Despite the slightly different approach to this film to previous Statham films this new trailer has plenty of generic cheesy one liners, action you’ll expect to see in the Jason Statham film.Parker may not have anything original but after The Expendables Statham fans will be glad to see their hero back on solo duty! Along with new Trailer  we also have a short behind the scenes featurette which shows a little more new footage and with Taylor Hackford (Ray) behind the camera on this one, Parker may not win the Stath any more new fans but should raise the bar a little in quality of the film.

Parker Stars Jennifer Lopez, Michael Chiklis,Clifton Collins Jr, Wendell Pierce, and Nick Nolte. The film wont arrive in UK until 8th March 2013 but American Stah fans can see Parker when it arrives State Side 25 January.

Parker (Jason Statham) is a professional thief who lives by a personal code of ethics: Don’t steal from people who can’t afford it and don’t hurt people who don’t deserve it.  But on his latest heist, his crew double crosses him, steals his stash, and leaves him for dead.

Determined to make sure they regret it, Parker tracks them to Palm Beach, playground of the rich and famous, where the crew is planning their biggest heist ever.  Donning the disguise of a rich Texan, Parker takes on an unlikely partner, Leslie (Jennifer Lopez), a savvy insider, who’s short on cash, but big on looks, smarts and ambition.  Together, they devise a plan to hijack the score, take everyone down and get away clean.
