Beam Me Up Scotty! Watch The Full Star Trek Into Darkness Trailer

Space the final frontier, JJ Abram‘s Star Trek Into Darkness will fly into cinemas next Summer, last week we got an announcement trailer and tonight we now have the full trailer which is rather melancholic. Last week’s pre The Hobbit teaser was rather dark, destructive however for the new trailer starts off with an emotive feel, that LOTR Samwise Gamgee (Two Towers end speech) score last heard in the early Man Of Steel trailers building up to the fact Kirk may have the bridge his arrogance will get him in trouble getting all around him in trouble. Will Kirk learn from his reality check as history tells us from television series we’ve seen the greatness but as the trailer progresses the destruction arrives.

This new trailer doesn’t really reveal much more than what we haven’t seen in the previous teaser and that of who Benedict Cumberbatch will be playing. This trailer does expand on the actor’s screen time but once again  the speculation speculation continues who he is as the trailer teases us with more Khan possibilities, namely the line “Is there anything you would not do for your family?“. There is also the small matter of Alice Eve‘s character  Carol Marcus who just happens to be the mother of Kirk’s son David also the lead scientist of the Genesis project both in Wrath of Khan as is the iconic touch glass Spock Death scene! But as JJ Abrams is a master of keeping things close to his chest could he be unleashing a red herring with the Khan Malarky? Possibly we also have a slight notion this film may have a Search of Spock connection could Cumberbatch be a Klingon possibly Kruge?

Star Trek Into Darkness stars  Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Karl Urban, Anton Yelchin, Zoe Saldana, John Cho, Simon Pegg, Alice Eve, Peter Weller, Noel Clarke, and Benedict Cumberbatch. The film will transport into cinemas nationwide from star date  17th May 2013.
