Vicky Krieps 'Fights' In Love Me Tender UK Trailer

Peccadillo Pictures have released the official UK Trailer for upcoming French drama Love Me Tender. It stars Vicky Krieps and it looks like she’ll be doing a lot of ‘fighting’ in the name of custody.

The film is directed by Anna Cazenave Cambet and based on a novel by Constance Debré. Love Me Tender follows Clemence (Krieps), a one time lawyer now writer. When she falls in love with a woman, her amicable relationship with her ex-husband falls apart. Now forced to fight for custody she once shared, fighting an unjust system that demands she prove she’s fit to mother her own child.

Vicky Krieps (Phantom Thread, Corsage, The Dead Don’t Hurt) is one actress who seems to slip under the radar despite many fantastic performances. Hopefully soon her talents will be recognised and awards come her way.

The film also stars Antoine Reinartz, Monia Chokri, Viggo Ferreira-Redier, Féodor Atkine, and Ji-Min Park.
