Sony Pictures have released a new UK Poster for animated adventure comedy The Garfield Movie. A poster that shows off our titular lasagne loving feline, released on the day he loathes…Monday!
Always in the background, sometimes taking the blame is his loyal doggy friend Odie. Garfield always will take centre stage! Jim Davis comic strip which he created 46 years ago has found it’s way into our hearts expanding into a animated television series or two along with a few live action films. Voiced by Bill Murray, for 2024 version it’s Chris Pratt.
In this one things get big not just the journey the cat himself. Our sarcastic house bound cat is about to meet his daddy Vic (voiced by Samuel L.Jackson). Anywhere Garfield goes, so does his faithful canine friend Odie even on a heist!

Garfield (voiced by Chris Pratt), the world-famous, Monday-hating, lasagna-loving indoor cat, is about to have a wild outdoor adventure! After an unexpected reunion with his long-lost father – scruffy street cat Vic (voiced by Samuel L. Jackson) – Garfield and his canine friend Odie are forced from their perfectly pampered life into joining Vic in a hilarious, high-stakes heist.
The rest of the voice cast includes Nicholas Hoult, Cecily Strong, Hannah Waddingham, Brett Goldstein, Bowen Yang, and Ving Rhames. Directed by The Emperor’s New Groove director Mark Dindal.
The Garfield Movie will be in UK and Irish cinemas from 24th May 2024.
