In New We Bury The Dead Trailer ‘Only Some Come Back’
As we wait for an UK Trailer, Vertical have released a second We Bury The Dead U.S Trailer. We learned from the previous trailer these zombies only some come back!
The Australian Post Apocalyptic horror thriller stars Daisy Ridley, Brenton Thwaites, Matt Whelan, Chloe Hurst, Kym Jackson, Mark Coles Smith. Directed by Aussie filmmaker Zak Hilditch and since it’s debut at this year’s SXSW the reviews have been good. The zombie sub genre has been in a dire need to delivery something a little different, this might be it.
We Bury The Dead follows a desperate woman Ava (Ridley) searching for her husband. All thanks to an catastrophic event, Ava joins retrieval unit hoping to find him. What she does find, the dead are coming ‘alive’ again.

Synopsis | It’s hard to bury the hatchet when the dead rise again as Daisy Ridley discovers in this emotional take on the zombie thriller. Ava is a desperate woman whose husband is missing in the aftermath of a catastrophic military experiment. Hoping to find him alive, she joins a “body retrieval unit”, but her search takes a chilling turn when the corpses she’s burying start showing signs of life.
Since we posted the first trailer, we’ve learned Signature Entertainment will be releasing the film in the UK and Ireland. We Bury the Dead will first release it on Digital HD 2nd January 2026 and on DVD, Blu-ray from 19th January 2026.
