When you do a movie which is going to be a remake its nice to appreciate the original for a few years and then maybe start thinking about doing the movie then, usually the longer there is better some people will say ok lets see your version. But for DEATH AT A FUNERAL the original came out late 2007 and wasnt more than 6 months later when the idea of a 2010 version!

A while back I posted the U.S Theatrical trailer well below is the international trailer which is more likely to be the UK trailer for Death At A funeral which is due to be released in 4th June in UK&Ireland (16th April USA), with Screen Gems been the studio releasing the movie.

The movie is about an funeral service which becomes a farcial riot when the family’s dark secret are revealed. Chris Rock and Martin Lawerence play the brothers whos father is the deceased. Sexy Zoe Saldana, Columbus Short, Danny Glover, James Marsden, Tracy Morgan and Richard Drinklage (who was in the Frank Oz 2007 version and playing same character) also appears.

Im still not convinced with this movie yet but I can see the potential for this movie to have a fairly decent run when it comes out. Apart from the cast which is ok, its the director of the movie thats off putting, its Neil LaBute who is responsible for Wicker Man remake and Lake view terrace!!!
