Matt Damon to Play Robert Kennedy?
ShareReports coming from Deadline reporter Nikki Finke that Matt Damon is line to play Robert F Kennedy in a historical biopic on John F Kennedy’s brother who sadly suffered the same fate a few years later.
The movie is to be directed by Seabiscuit director Gary Ross and the scripting been writen by Steven Knight who wrote Dirty Pretty Things / Eastern Promises. The movie will be based on a adaptation of Evan Thomas Kennedy Biography His Life which came out in 2000 and I would say this wont be the title of the movie!
There isn’t alot of data yet on the movie but from the book Evan Thomas seems to be very sympathetic to Bobbie Kennedy showing his good side s well as bad side. He was a spirited person trying to do right though bad things followed him and in this future movie it will look t his early years including the presidental goings on between the period of 1960 until 1968.
