Marvel has released a new first-look featurette for Captain America: Brave New World as tickets for the anticipated new MCU entry go on sale!

Set to debut next month, the film is the first film released in the series since last year’s Deadpool & Wolverine and fans have been waiting with bated breath to see how Anthony Mackie does in his feature debut as Captain America, taking over from Chris Evans. The actor says it was “personal” for him on set, saying in the featurette:

“I came set every day with a smile on his face because we’re making Captain America… Being handed the shield, it just means a lot to me. It’s personal.”

In the film, Sam Wilson has to work with the new President, Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross, played by Harrison Ford who takes over from the late William Hurt for the film, and Mackie says he loved working with him, adding:

“Harrison was cool and he was great. It was really interesting to see him sculpting a character in a world this big. I couldn’t put a price on that lesson.”

Ford, whose character transforms into Red Hulk for the first time in the franchise, said  “I had seen actors in the Marvel movies have a really good time. I thought, ‘Well, maybe I ought to get me some of that.’”

Directed by Julius Onah (The Falcon & The Winter Soldier), the film also stars Giancarlo Esposito, Tim Blake Nelson, Shira Haas, Carl Lumbley, Danny Ramirez, Roza Salazar and, no doubt, a MCU cameo or two…

Captain America: Brave New World opens in cinemas on February 14th.
