Alice In Wasteland, 2 New TV Spots For Resident Evil: Retribution

Last week it was all about Alice(Milla Jovovich) in a new featurette for next month’s Resident Evil :Retribution which gave possible newcomers a quick recap on the previous 4 films. Today Sony/ Screen Gems follow up the featurette with 2 action packed TV Spots which reveals some new snippets of footage not seen in the films trailer.

Let’s be honest Resident Evil franchise may not be blessed with great scripting, storylines or fantastic acting. Cinema is pure escapism , Resident Evil does provide that 90 minutes of entertainment. Critics may destroy it but fans of the game or even franchise don’t care as Alice is back in wasteland attempting to take down the Umbrella Corp. who are responsible for unleashing the deadly T-Virus that now ravages Earth.  I do like the artwork I’m seeing as what started as a outbreak within Umbrellas own HQ spreading out into Racoon City  then to other parts of the world and now our little blue planet now resembles something close to a post apocalyptic wasteland.

Resident Evil:Retribution will arrive in UK&Ireland September 28th, 2 weeks after USA see it, starring Michelle Rodriguez, Sienna Guillory, Oded Fehr, Kevin Durand, Boris Kodjoe, Shawn Roberts, Colin Salmon, Johann Urb and Li Bingbing.

Alice is captured by Umbrella and awakens in the heart of their operation facility; as she moves further in the complex more of her past is unveiled and continues to hunt for those responsible for the outbreak. Her quest takes her and her newfound allies from Tokyo to New York, Washington, D.C. and Moscow. After a “mind-blowing” revelation, she is forced to rethink everything she once thought to be true
