After Earth TV Spot 1 Teases Us With Big Creatures!

M.Night Shyamalan will be hoping his past doesn’t back to haunt the way the giant creatures in the first TV Spot for After Earth. Shown during the MTV Movie Awards the new spot Ā reveals the planetĀ General Cypher Raige (Will Smith) and his son Kitai (Jaden Smith) it has aĀ plethora of giant creatures that want to kill themĀ but Son, do you know where we are? This is Earth!
After Earth stars father/son combo Will Smith (Cypher Raige) and Jaden Smith(Kitai Raige) who crash land on a post apocalyptic Earth, which mankind abandoned 1000 years before. Earth has evolved into a very dangerous place, so dangerous the weird array of creatures want to kill them forcing Kitai on a life or death mission to send for help as Cypher is injured.
It might only be 30 seconds long but you do get a better grip of what to expect, it does actually looks not bad, but once again how many times can film fans forgive Shyamalan after some rather terrible films? At the weekend the trailer was played during the previews in front of Oblivion to near packed screen and I have to say the buzz after the trailer wasn’t very good. Hopefully Will Smith with help from his son can pull it off or it will be back to watching grown mean say sorry to fake plastic plants.
What the heck are those giant bug like creatures? find out on 7th June 2013 when After Earth arrives in UK, Ireland and USA, the film also stars Zoe Kravitz, Sophie Okonedo, and Isabelle Fuhrman.
