Zach Galifianakis Operation:Endgame gets picked up by Anchor Bay

Zach Galifianakis is a popular man in hollywood these days after The Hangover last year, the demand to get him in a project is so big and his schedule seems to be filling up very nicely for him. He has a fair number of projects lined up including Shrek spin off Puss in boots , Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck’s It’s Kind of a Funny Story and Due Date by Todd Phillips.

It was reported by ScreenDaily that Anchor Bay Entertainment have just paid a nice 7 figure sum for Cinema, DVD and TV rights to the action/thriller comedy Operation:Endgame (also known as Rogues Gallery) a movie starring Galifianakis.

The movie actually was made last year and has been described as an action comedy thriller with a war broke out within the multiple government spy agencies when there boss gets killed. the movie was directed by Fouad Mikati with Richard Kelly’s Darko Entertainment producing the movie, it also has quite a good looking cast as well: ob Corddry, Maggie Q, Bob Odenkirk, Jeffrey Tambor, Ving Rhames, Emilie de Ravin, Adam Scott and Ellen Barkin along with Zach Galifianankis. This movie did disappear from the movie focus but now Anchor Bay has put it back in the limelight and looking at it this could a little winner for them!
