How the mighty have fallen. Nearly 35 years Bruce Willis starred in one of the best Christmas action films ever, Die Hard. He went onto to appear in couple more solid Die Hard Films, Sixth Sense, Sin City, Red to name a few then it all fell apart. The pull of the big screen disappeared , the screens got smaller so did the budgets and off course the audience. Nowadays you will find him in generic action flicks, which sadly rather forget about. Is his latest film Fortress one of those thrillers?

Signature Entertainment have released the film’s UK Trailer, a film Willis co-stars with Jesse Metcalfe and Chad Michael Murray. Willis plays a retired CIA agent who finds himself going one on one with with his old nemesis who wants bloody revenge.

This can either be one of those escapist films that asks you to embrace what’s going on in front of you even if what’s on offer may not be the best, but entertains. The other side it’s just plain terrible, your choice blue or red pill?

Fortress is an all-out-action cyber thriller from the producers of Lone Survivor and The Irishman and starring the action powerhouse Bruce Willis, Escape Plan II’s Jesse Metcalfe, One Tree Hill’s Chad Michael Murray and fan favourite Shannen Doherty (90210, Charmed). Robert (Willis) is a retired CIA agent living at a secret resort in the woods. One day, his estranged son drives to the camp for a visit — but he’s followed by Robert’s old nemesis, Balzary (Murray). As the site is besieged by Balzary’s attack squad, father and son retreat to a high-tech bunker. But are its steel walls and advanced weapons powerful enough to match Balzary’s bloodthirsty plans for revenge?

This film also stars Shannen Doherty, Sean Kanan, Kelly Greyson, and Ser’Darius Blain. Fortress will be released in the UK and Ireland on Digital Platforms 28th March and DVD 11th April.
