The office based drama  be it comedic or serious have been popular down the years. This Dan Erickson created series is certainly not The Office nor is it Office Space. More like Dystopic in the lines of an episode from Black Mirror, are you ready to give yourself in the name of experiment?

Could you split your work and personal life? It’s an aged old dilemma  that many of us  have tried to balance with varying results. What’s alarming , is some companies require to know your social media accounts to know what you are ‘doing’.  In Severance, Scott is Mark who elects himself to undergo a severance procedure, surgically dividing  their memories between their work and personal lives. However his dark past comes back to haunt him.

From director and executive producer Ben Stiller and creator Dan Erickson comes “Severance.” Mark Scout (Adam Scott) leads a team at Lumon Industries, whose employees have undergone a severance procedure, which surgically divides their memories between their work and personal lives. This daring experiment in “work-life balance” is called into question as Mark finds himself at the centre of an unravelling mystery that will force him to confront the true nature of his work… and of himself.

The series is written and created by Dan Erickson. Mark Friedman, Chris Black, John Cameron and Andrew Colville are executive producers alongside Erickson. Ben Stiller, Nicky Weinstock and Jackie Cohn executive produce through Red Hour Productions, and both Patricia Arquette and Adam Scott serve as producers. Endeavor Content serves as the studio.

The nine part series also stars Patricia Arquette, John Turturro, Britt Lower, Zach Cherry, Dichen Lachman, Jen Tullock, Tramell Tillman, Michael Chernus and Christopher Walken.
