Sky have today released the Official Trailer for their upcoming 4 part Sky Original limited series The Fear Index.
Josh Hartnett stars as Dr Alex Hoffman, a technology genius who experiences a waking nightmare of the worst 24 hours of his life. Also starring is Arsher Ali (The Ritual, Informer) as Hugo, his hedge fund business partner and best friend; Leila Farzad (I Hate Suzie, Innocent) as Gabby Hoffman; and Grégory Montel (Call My Agent) as Detective Leclerc.
The thriller follows Dr Hoffman is launching a new AI system to investors, that exploits fear in the financial markets and operates at lightning speed to make big returns. Things don’t go to plan, forcing Dr Hoffman to everything in the worst 24 hours of his life.
Paul Andrew Williams (Broadchurch) adapted the series with Caroline Bartleet (Ticking) from Robert Harris’s novel.
