When it comes to post credit scenes , the Marvel cinematic universe has mastered those scenes. Let’s just say they don’t have exclusives rights as Netflix join the club by releasing The Witcher: Blood Origin Teaser Trailer.
Eagle eyed fans were treated to a post-credits Easter egg upon completion of The Witcher Season 2, as Netflix surprise dropped first look footage from prequel series in the final episode’s end credits.
The teaser reveals the cast of the series in action for the first time, including Sophia Brown as Éile, Laurence O’Fuarain as Fjall, and Michelle Yeoh as Scían.
Sky may have thought They have pulled off the cash cow with The Game Of Thrones. The expansion opportunities are unbelievable, with The Witcher the streaming giants have equally similar opportunities. 2022 the latest take us back to the Elven world 1200 years before what happened before the main series kicked off.
Taking us to the world when the worlds of monsters, men, and elves merged to become one and of course the ‘Conjunction of the Spheres.’
Every story has a beginning. Witness the untold history of the Continent with The Witcher: Blood Origin, a new prequel series set in an elven world 1200 years before the events of The Witcher. Blood Origin will tell a story lost to time – exploring the creation of the first prototype Witcher, and the events that lead to the pivotal “Conjunction of the Spheres,” when the worlds of monsters, men, and elves merged to become one. The Witcher: Blood Origin will release in 2022, only on Netflix.
The rest of the cast includes Mirren Mack (Merwyn), Lenny Henry (Balor), Jacob Collins Levy (Eredin), Lizzie Annis (Zacaré), Huw Novelli (Callan Brother Death), Francesca Mills (Meldof), Amy Murray (Fenrik), Nathaniel Curtis (Brían), Zach Wyatt (Syndril) and Dylan Moran (Uthrok One-Nut).
Netflix have not mentioned a launch date for the series apart from The Witcher: Blood Origin will premiere on the channel in 2022.
