Freestyle Digital Media have sent us the official Trailer for upcoming award winning indie horror Children Of The Pines.
The film marks Joshua Morgan’s feature length directorial debut after a couple of short films. Morgan worked with producer Lucas A. Ferrara and Danielle J. Bowman and promising his chilling debut will be ‘refreshingly thoughtful, disturbing, and eerie thriller’.
In Children Of The Pines, over her winter break, Riley, a college junior, is persuaded by her estranged parents, Kathy and John, to visit. Unbeknownst to her, they’ve developed an unsettling friendship with her high school ex, Gordon, while also seeking supernatural healing for their family’s deep-rooted issues
This looks chillingly intense and be interesting to see how this would become an award winning film.

As Riley settles in, she discovers that her parents have developed an unsettling friendship with her high school ex, Gordon, and that mysterious children are now living in the house. A series of disturbing flashbacks reveal Kathy and John’s time at an eerie, unconventional couples therapy retreat that promised to heal their problems through supernatural means. As the day progresses, Riley starts to uncover the dark and twisted truth of her parents’ desperate attempts to mend the deep issues plaguing their family.
The cast for this one includes Danielle J. Bowman, Kelly Tappan, Vas Provatakis, Donna Rae Allen, Richard Cohn-Lee, and David Raizor. Children Of The Pines will be coming to Digital platforms globally from 18th October.
