Let’s be honest, the good comic book films are far and between. We all know the good ones, the okay ones could DC’s Clayface be a good one? Warner Bros Pictures have released the final spinetingling Trailer might convince you?
Ckayface stars Tom Rhys Harries as Matt Hagen with James Watkins (Speak No Evil remake) directing on a Mike Flanagan and Hossein Amini script. Tom is that street kid who becomes a Hollywood superstar overnight only to find that glittering career cut short. All thanks to a Gotham crime boss, leaving him disfigures, abandoned and out for revenge.
Will there be the look of fear cinephile’s faces when DC’s horror foray into Gotham city? Hopefully one as big as the Joker’s grin literally in that this will be worth the wait. Unfortunately the history of spin-off films in major characters hasn’t been good. We have hope this Batman spin off will be good, will there be a cameo from the Caped Crusader? If yes, who will be the Batman?
Naomi Ackie, David Dencik, Max Minghella andEddie Marsan, as well as Nancy Carroll and Joshua James all star in this one. We have hope this will deliver the dark horror tone not a comic book film pretending to be a horror…
