Watch The Hypnotic First UK Trailer For Danny Boyle’s Trance

Missing Danny Boyle? After his extravagant Opening/Closing ceremonies for last summers London Olympics Bury’s finest has wasted no time return to behind the camera creating Trance and this after we have the Official first UK trailer.

Trance is a London based thriller starring James McAvoy as Simon an Art auctioneer who has a tendency of ‘taking’ the more expensive pieces of art that come his way. After a bump to his head he finds himself sunken into the dangerous world under the thumb of ice cold gangster Franck (Vincent Cassel) who attempts to find out where a missing Goya painting has disappeared too by attempting to extract info on its whereabouts from Simon via hypnosis as he can remember nothing.

The visual visual style as well as sound (provided by regular Boyle contributor Rick Smith of Underworld) Trance looks a typical Boyle film with Shallow Grave, even a little Trainspotting mixed traditional heist film we have hell of a fun film on the cards. Don’t get me wrong We did enjoy Slumdog Millionaire however we do like to see Boyle create what he does best exciting stylish thrillers.

Trance Co stars Rosario Dawson,Tuppence Middleton and Danny Sapani, film will open in UK&Ireland 27th March.
