Watch The Chaotic First Trailer For Borderlands


Chaos loves company, Lionsgate have released the first UK Trailer for Borderlands.
Eli Roth‘s film is the latest video game to get a big screen film adaptation of the game of the same name. Anyone who has played this game, know it’s an absolutely bonkers of a game. It has a big reputation, with plenty of violence, explosive action and dry wit. This trailer suggests that will all be there and it has a Guardians Of The Galaxy feel to it as well.
Impressive cast led by Cate Blanchett (Lilith), Kevin Hart (Roland), Jamie Lee Curtis (Dr. Patricia Tannis), Jack Black (Claptrap), Ariana Greenblatt (Tiny Tina), plus Florian Munteanu (Krieg).
Borderlands is set on the fictional planet of Pandora. Lilith and her team of misfits search for the missing daughter of Atlas. A mission uncovers one of the planet’s secrets leaving the fate of the universe in their hands.
Lilith (Blanchett), an infamous bounty hunter with a mysterious past, reluctantly returns to her home, Pandora, the most chaotic planet in the galaxy. Her mission is to find the missing daughter of Atlas (Ramírez), the universe’s most powerful S.O.B. Lilith forms an unexpected alliance with a ragtag team of misfits – Roland (Hart), a seasoned mercenary on a mission; Tiny Tina (Greenblatt), a feral pre-teen demolitionist; Krieg(Munteanu), Tina’s musclebound protector; Tannis (Curtis), the oddball scientist who’s seen it all; and Claptrap (Black), a wiseass robot. Together, these unlikely heroes must battle an alien species and dangerous bandits to uncover one of Pandora’s most explosive secrets. The cast also stars Haley Bennett, Edgar Ramírez, Bobby Lee, Olivier Richters, Janina Gavankar, Cheyenne Jackson, and Gina Gershon. Borderlands will be released in the UK, Ireland and USA on 9th August.
