What would you do with the rest of your life, if you only have 6 months to live? It’s a question David Krumholtz is asking himself in the official Trailer for indie comedy Lousy Carter.

The film is the latest from filmmaker Bob Byington (Somebody Up There Likes Me, 7 Chinese Brothers, Infinity Baby). A seditious take on traditional terminal diagnosis films starring Krumholtz (Oppenheimer) in lead role. He’s a self absorbing college professor who gets the news he’ll die in 6 months who decides to take the destructive path as he’s nothing to loose.

This is one for the indie film purists, dry wit that may not be for everyone. Looking for something a little absurd, different, Lousy Carter might be up your alley.

In Lousy Carter, David Krumholtz stars as a ne’er-do-well literature professor adrift on a soulless college campus who learns he only has six months to live. With the clock ticking down, will he change his ways? Probably not… Man-baby Lousy Carter struggles to complete his animated Nabokov adaptation, teaches a graduate seminar on The Great Gatsby, and sleeps with his best friend’s wife.

The film also stars Martin Starr, Olivia Thirlby, Jocelyn DeBoer, Macon Blair, and Stephen Root. Lousy Carter doesn’t have a UK or Irish release date, however it will make it’s UK Premiere at Glasgow Film Festival. You can catch the film on 1st March which director Bob Byington will be in attendance, 2nd March [more info/buy tickets].If you live in the U.S, it will be in select theatres and digital from 29th March.
