Originally earmarked for a release during this summer,Renée Zellweger a woman whose marriage whose marriage is falling apart. Things may change when she befriends a man she saw in her dreams.
Same Kind of Different As Me tells the story of an international art dealer Ron Hall (Greg Kinnear) who must befriend a dangerous homeless man (Djimon Hounsou) in order to save his struggling marriage to his wife (Renée Zellweger), a woman whose dreams will lead all three of them on the most remarkable journey of their lives. I’ll be honest this film originally slipped passed me, I had no clue whom was in it. It’s been common knowledge Renée Zellweger has recently had some cosmetic surgery, in this she is virtually unrecognisable. The film’s does have a slight religious tone to it which might have some folks thinking this might be a religious faith based film. This might put off some folks however charity and the need to help the common person comes from your heart. This maybe a Hollywood film but homeless is sadly a worldwide problem and we must not forget these folks are human too.
The film marks the directorial debut for Michael Carney base don a book written by the real Ron Hall and Denver Moore.
Same Kind Of Different As Me is set for 2017 release (UK actual date to be confirmed)with American release set for 3rd February 2017.
