Watch Distraught Hugh Jackman In Second Intense Prisoners Trailer

So do you think Hugh Jackman is only tough as nails with his adamantium claws? Maybe check out this new second trailer for Prisoners a desperate father determined to find his missing daughter.
First I need to apologize that I missed the first trailer however don’t despair though this footage might be new to some, we do get alot of footage recycled so no need to catch up. Prisoners tells the story of 2 families (Jackman & Maria Bello, Terrence Howard & Viola Davies) all friends whose daughters are missing possibly kidnapped. Step forward brash new cop Detective Loki (Jake Gyllenhaal) who is assigned to the case quickly arrests creepy looking Paul Dano, however with very little evidence to make an conviction he is released. Distraught that nothing is done  Keller Dover (Jackman) decides to take extreme measures and take the law into his own hands.
Prisoners marks the double bill English language debut for French Canadian Villeneuve (other film Enemy with Jake Gyllenhaal) whose Oscar Nominated Incendies  I was fortunate to see recently. Fantastically powerful cast on show here, once again Hugh Jackman showcasing his diversity and why he could be in the running for a another Oscar as Prisoners does show potential award winning qualities. If Prisoners delivers the same intensity, emotional depth and shocking twists as Incendies it’ll certainly be a anticipated film to look forward to this Autumn, gripping, dramatic moral challenging film.
Prisoners will be released in UK&Ireland on 6th October (20th September USA), the film also stars Melissa Leo and David Dastmalchian.
Synopsis
Keller Dover is facing every parent’s worst nightmare. His 6-year-old daughter and her young friend are missing, and as minutes turn to hours, panic sets in. The only lead is a dilapidated RV that had been parked on their street. Heading the investigation, Detective Loki arrests its driver, but a lack of evidence forces the only suspect’s release. Knowing his child’s life is at stake, the frantic Dover decides he has no choice but to take matters into his own hands. The desperate father will do whatever it takes to find the girls, but in doing so, may lose himself, begging the question: When do you cross the line between seeking justice and becoming a vigilante?
