Last week we gave you the Spanish trailer for Lynne Ramsay’s We Need To Talk About Kevin and this we Artificial Eye present us the official UK trailer. Tonight has certainly been all about Glasgow, first we had the World War Z images and now we have a movie from one of the city’s film maker’s Lynne Ramsay who made a return to the director’s chair first time since Morvern Callar (2003) in a movie which many ‘outside critics’ believed should have been the true winner of this years Palm D’Or.

Mother is an angel to a child and for a mother no matter how old or how young or even what they do in their lives you’ll alway’s be there child, even when the child like Kevin(Ezra Miller) is anย psychoticย socio path.ย ย The film centre’s around the relationship between mother and son watching him grow through the years but only to reach the age of 15 and commit an unforgivable act of a killing spree at his local school. The movie also looks at the grieving of Kevin’s mother (played By Tilda Swinton ย with father played by John C Reilly) and her feeling of been responsible for her sons actions. It’s certainly a film which will push the boundaries a movie that actually looks a very dark dramatic and the trailer does show Kevin has that hate for his mother from a very early age. The buzz for this film seems to grows every time new footage appears, I’m convinced just reading the early reviews Tilda Swinton is the true star of this flick and you would assume people will find this hard to watch but I think people will be surprised how easy it will be to enjoy.

We Need To Talk About Kevinย opens in France onย September 28th, while the UK gets it onย October 21st and the US on December 2nd.
