Owen Wilson is exProGolfer Pryce Cahill in STICK (Apple TV+)

The trailer for the upcoming second season of Stick, starring Owen Wilson, has been released online by Apple TV. Will it continue their run of feel-good shows on the platform?

Wilson stars as Pryce Cahill, an ex-pro golfer whose career was derailed prematurely 20 years ago. The show, which debuted in June 2025, follows Cahill as he tries to see if he really was as good as everyone said he was. After the collapse of his marriage to Amber Lynn (Judy Greer) and getting fired from his job at an Indiana sporting goods store, Pryce decides to try coaching a troubled 17-year-old golf phenom named Santi (Peter Dager).

This season sees Pryceโ€™s golf prodigy Santi take the next step in his pursuit of professional golf, but his talent thus far becomes baseline expectation, which changes the game for him. As Santi chases his dream, Pryce Cahill finds himself wondering what might still be possible for him. Marc Maron,Mariana Treviรฑo, and Lilli Kay are also returning for the second season, alongside Greer, Dager and Wilson. Rhea Seehorn, John Higgins, Billy Zane, Rex Linn, Sasha Alexander and Missi Pyle are joining the cast.

In the trailer, we see Seahorn, who will portray Coach Amanda, recruited to help Pryce get back on track to success. With trusted caddie Mitts (Maron) in his corner, Pryce sets out to prove โ€” to the golf world and, more importantly, to himself โ€” that maybe he really was as good as everyone always said he was. Amanda snorts and laughs at first, thinking they are kidding when they visit her for her wisdom and expertise.

Jason Keller is showrunner, who also serves as executive producer alongside Wilson, Ben Silverman for Propagate Content and Entertainment 360โ€™s Guymon Casady. The series is also executive produced by Christopher Moynihan, Rodney Ferrell, Howard T. Owens, Drew Buckley, Lee Eisenberg, and Bill Callahan.
