The King’s Man Third Trailer Teases It’s ‘Great War’ Involvement
‘Refined, but brutal, Civilized, but merciless’, 20th Century Studios has released a Third UK Trailer for The King’s Man. Thanks to the previous trailers we know the film will explore the origins of the first independent intelligence agency. We know it will be full of action, the latest promo teases it’s involvement in the ‘Great War’, World War One.
Matthew Vaughn return’s to the James Bond style franchise this time for a prequel. The King’s Man: The Secret Service surprised many people with it’s blend of action, and comedy. The follow up The Golden Circle was near disastrous, so going prequel might be the logical move. That said Vaughn is keen to make a ‘second sequel’
This trailer isn’t about the frenetic action, the latest one does too but much more. Having the historical background gives the film a little edge. We get to meet more of the characters and that even the ‘gentleman spies’ headed to the war.
Ralph Fiennes and Harris Dickinson take over from Colin Firth and Taron Eggerton in the Mentor/Student roles. If Dickinson can get out of this film what Eggerton got, we might be seeing a young actor catapulted into bigger stardom…

The Kings Man is set for an 16th September UK and Irish Cinema release. Like many things in this lockdown things could change.
