The Final Sonic The Hedgehog 2 UK Trailer Heats Up!

That little blue furball Sonic, will be back in our cinemas in a few weeks. Today Paramount Pictures have released a new final UK Trailer  for Sonic The Hedgehog 2 that will be action packed as things heat up!

After the first film’s CGI problems, the end product took us all by surprise. So one could say  Sonic The Hedgehog is the best video game film adaptation to date. That would mean the expectations will be higher for the sequel and going on the evidence of the trailer below things look good.

Jim Carrey returns as Sonic’s (Ben Schwartz) archnemesis Dr Robotnik  this time he’s not alone. Knuckles (Idris Elba) who can match Sonic on every level possibly more. Robotnik wants emerald that can destroy us all!

Some of those bonkers fun things from the first film get taken up a level or two. Most of all the plot looks a little more clearer, fans of the game will love the Easter eggs. How many can you spot?

The world’s favourite blue hedgehog is back for a next-level adventure in SONIC THE HEDGEHOG 2. After settling in Green Hills, Sonic is eager to prove he has what it takes to be a true hero. His test comes when Dr. Robotnik returns, this time with a new partner, Knuckles, in search for an emerald that has the power to destroy civilizations. Sonic teams up with his own sidekick, Tails, and together they embark on a globe-trotting journey to find the emerald before it falls into the wrong hands. 

The cast includes James Marsden, Tika Sumpter, Natasha Rothwell, Adam Pally, Lee Majdoub. They are joined by the voices of Idris Elba and Colleen O’Shaughnessey.

Sonic The Hedgehog 2 will be released in UK and Irish cinemas from 1st April.
