Tennis Gets A ‘Red Card’ In New Fun Despicable Me 4 Clip
It’s strawberries and cream season with Wimbledon well under way in London. Tennis is also the theme of the new Despicable Me 4 clip, as The Minions step into the umpire chair.
We’re only 11 days away from the 4th film and this clip we find Gru (Steve Carell) having a tennis match against Maxime Le Mal (Will Ferrell). There is an unexpected umpire who is taking rubbish from anyone and giving it a red card….

Following the 2022 summer blockbuster phenomenon of Illumination’s Minions: The Rise of Gru, which earned almost $1 billion worldwide, the biggest global animated franchise in history now begins a new chapter as Gru (Oscar® nominee Steve Carell) and Lucy (Oscar® nominee Kristen Wiig) and their girls —Margo (Miranda Cosgrove), Edith (Dana Gaier) and Agnes (Madison Polan)—welcome a new member to the Gru family, Gru Jr., who is intent on tormenting his dad.
Gru faces a new nemesis in Maxime Le Mal (Emmy winner Will Ferrell) and his femme fatale girlfriend Valentina (Emmy nominee Sofia Vergara), and the family is forced to go on the run.
Despicable Me 4 will be in UK and Irish cinemas from 12th July. The voice cast for this one also includes Kristen Wiig, Miranda Cosgrove, Dana Gaier, Madison Polan, Sofia Vergara, Joey King, Stephen Colbert, Chloe Fineman, Steve Coogan. Not forgetting Pierre Coffin as the voice of The Minions.
