With the big films coming out the next few months on paper Chris Gorak’s THE DARKEST HOUR may actually look the most impressive on paper but its went for a more low key affair. Its already proven taken the low key approach to a film does work instead of the all out bombardment of some films like to take (which also works too) but and its this approach that its kept film fans intrigued along with the aliens themselves invisible energy source based which can as frightening as actually known what your invaders look like. But what could be worse actually finding yourself in a foreign land as they invade?!

Summit Entertainment have released a new tv spot as we approach the final part of the marketing train as we get closer to January 13th 2012 UK&Irish release (December 25th USA). The Darkest Hour is produced by  Timur Bekmambetov (Wanted, Night/Daywatch ) is producing The Darkest Hour with Emile Hirsch, Olivia Thirlby, Max Minghella, Rachel Taylor, Joel Kinnaman and Greg Kinnear.

The DARKEST HOUR is the story of five young people who find themselves stranded in Moscow, fighting to survive in the wake of a devastating alien attack. The 3D thriller highlights the classic beauty of Moscow alongside mind-blowing special effects.
