Rule The Dark, Watch The Trailer, The Riddick Full Trailer

On the eve of Fast And Furious 6 racing into UK cinemas what better time to plug your next flick, Riddick and after March’s tease we finally have a full trailer, Rule The Dark!

With the petrol wiped from his hand the goggles back on Vin Diesel heads back to the black with his cult anti hero Riddick with some familiar company directing him. David Towhy back in the directors chair, after the underwhelming second film it looks like the third film is been inspired by the film that started it all off Pitch Black which should please hardcore fan. The soap opera antics of Chronicles of Riddick seem now to be kept to a bare minimum or even disappeared however some of the CGI heavy moments do look a bit on the dodgy side however the fun, dark, gritty side of things hopefully keep the momentum flowing.

In the third outing Riddick is left for dead on a planet which can do some unique things but also has a wild selection of nasty predators and there the least of Riddick’s worries as a party of bounty hunters are on his trail to get him dead or alive.

Riddick now has a UK release date which is the same day as USA one, 6th September. The film stars Karl Urban, Jordi Molla, Matt Nable, Katee Sackhoff, Bokeem Woodbine, Dave Bautista, Conrad Pla, Raoul Trujillo, Nolan Funk and Keri Hilson.

Synopsis

The infamous Riddick has been left for dead on a sun-scorched planet that appears to be lifeless. Soon, however, he finds himself fighting for survival against alien predators more lethal than any human he’s encountered. The only way off is for Riddick to activate an emergency beacon and alert mercenaries who rapidly descend to the planet in search of their bounty.
The first ship to arrive carries a new breed of merc, more lethal and violent, while the second is captained by a man whose pursuit of Riddick is more personal. With time running out and a storm on the horizon that no one could survive, his hunters won’t leave the planet without Riddick’s head as their trophy.
