Let’s Dance To Rio 2 Teaser Trailer

Let’s dance once again with animations favourite Macaws Blu and Jewel as Blu Sky release the first teaser trailer for Rio 2. Jesse Eisenberg, Anne Hathaway will be flocking together to reprise their roles who with their three feathered siblings leave behind the surroundings of Rio De Janiero for a new life in the Amazon meeting a host of colourful characters good and bad.

Rio 2 is not due to arrive until next year as which is perfect timing as all eyes will be on Rio and Brazil in general with World Cup final been hosted in the country so the animated film could possibly help the city and country in tourism like Brave has done for Scotland. The only downside of this trailer is it doesn’t reveal anything about the plot, but it’s colourful playful, vibrant great Samba music which the kids will love.

Tracy Morgan, Leslie Mann, Jamie Foxx, Jemaine Clement all reprising their roles with the latter looking like he might potentially steal a few scenes with his poop-tastic Nigel. They will be joined by newcomers Andy Garcia, Rita Moreno, Bruno Mars,Rachel Crow and Kristin Chenoweth, quite a few Grammy/Oscar nominated singers a possible indication of the direction the film might be taking.

Synopsis

Blu, Jewel and their three kids are living the perfect domesticated life in the magical city that is Rio de Janeiro. When Jewel decides the kids need to learn to live like real birds, she insists the family venture into the Amazon. As Blu tries to fit in with his new neighbours, he worries he may lose Jewel and the kids to the call of the wild.

Rio 2 releases in UK&Irish cinemas in 2014, possibly 4th April 2014.
