When Robots Ruled The Earth! Dinobots Confirmed For Transformers 4!

He’s like the Harvey Weinstein of action films and it seems Lorenzo di Bonaventura who is to produce Transformers 4 has revealed the Dinobots will be in the new film!
“I can not disclose the specifics, but you can be sure that the arrival of the Dinobots will give the audience a lot to be excited about. The world’s coolest, most exciting cars will appear in the film, including Chinese vehicles, so whether you are a car enthusiast or not, it will be a feast for the eyes.” di Bonaventura told Beijing News during a recent interview.
This confirms the recent gossip that spread online and fans of the franchise will be ecstatic that another piece of the toys is finallly been included, but how big the part they’ll play we don’t know at this stage. What this news does is opens up the film to possible film titles, titles that look like they’ve been around since Dark Of The Moon in 2011.
It seems when Hasbro where registering TransformersDarkoftheMoon.com they also registered several other trademarks including Transformers: Last Stand, Transformers: Apocalypse, Transformers: Future Cast and Transformers: Age of Extinction. The last one seems a perfect fit with the Dinobots however it’s not unusual for companies to buy up various trademarks to secure their item and possible extensions of a franchise but as we know this new film is to be the start of a new franchise so protecting future films is the norm. Like every nothing is official until it comes from a official source so what’s spreading like plague fire online can only be treated as gossip. What is confirmed is that the film will take place  four years after the invasion of Chicago from Dark of The Moon.
So who are those Dinobots? If your not like me a kid in 1980’s and missed them from the cartoon shown during the decade they are robots shaped like Dinosaurs (dinotrons in Japan). Grimlock (Tyrannosaurus rex and team leader), Slag (Triceratops), Sludge (Apatosaurus), Snarl (Stegosaurus), Swoop (Pteranodon) and  there’s also Paddles (Elasmosaurus) but he’s onyl in the comics.
