RESIDENT EVIL: RETRIBUTION Teaser Trailer Or Is It Product Placement?
There is a few franchises out there that people rather see the end of but deep down we know despite a small band of loyal fans the franchises are still raking in the pennies for the respective studios. Tomorrow we have film number 4 of Underworld franchise and tonight we have the first teaser trailer for film 5 of the Resident Evil franchise RESIDENT EVIL:RETRIBUTION. When you rake in just over $700 million worldwide you could probably afford another film (even talk surfacing already about film 6!) but surely Screen Gems (owned by Sony) don’t have rent out space in the trailer as the first 2–25 seconds is just a blatant product placement advert, it’s smartly done but also a cheap move to plug the upcoming new PSP!
Alice (Milia Jovovich ) returns to take out the Umbrella Corp the company responsible for the zombie outbreak in this undead slobber knocker as WWE’s good old JR would call it. Things do take a turn for Alice when a few old faces return in the shape of Michelle Rodriguez, Oded Fehr, Colin Salmon, Sienna Guillory, Shawn Roberts, Boris Kodjoe with Kevin Durand, ,Johann Urb, Jason Isaacs joining the team. Li Bingbing the sexy Chinese star also joins the cast playing Ada Wong a popular character from the gaming part of the franchise which will please the fans of the franchise in general as will this film but for anyone else it’s up to you if your looking for over the top CGI action packed zombie slaying no brainer if not probably best you stay away as you’ll leave disappointed.
