11 years ago after Joe Johnston’s Jurassic Park 3 there was widespread talk a fourth film would follow a few years later however as history prevails nothing materialised. 11 years on the long wait for theย  4th film is looking more like reality with 2014 release date now been those fans looking forward to it as the long road has started to take shape and below is proof things have kicked off. With Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes Rick Jaffa, Amanda Silver to write the script with Steven Spielbergย  producing but there was a potential scenario for the film from The Departed’s William Monahan, John Sayles (The Spiderwick Chronciles) a plot involved a secret genetics lab. At the lab cross breeding with humans and Dinosaur DNA create ‘weapons’ who can fire weapons but controlled by humans, does it sound a Jurassic Park type story? Hell no!

We do love the idea however this story would dark, twisted even sinister for a film that’s essentially targeted for the 12A/PG rating, this idea could be potentially a tv film or even another possible film with no connection to the franchise. Below is images from the rejected concept artwork and whether or not you agree there should be a fourth film or not these pieces of art are very creepy but interesting viewing especially as one of the images is very reminiscent to the Lizard from The Amazing Spiderman!
