Good Evening…Watch The Trailer For Hitchcock Starring Anthony Hopkins

Good Evening….The fantastic looking first (U.S) official trailer for Sacha Gervasi‘s HITCHCOCK has arrived online. Originally cited for a January release stateside (still the same date here in UK&Ireland) but a last minute change has saw the film release set to be released on November 23rd to make sure it’s in the running for the Awards seasons. The decision was questioned by some quarters however on the evidence of this trailer its a sensible decision with what looks outstanding performances from Anthony Hopkins and Helen Mirren. Hitchcock is based on the Master of Suspense(Hopkins) to life in a love story about Alfred Hitchcock and his wife and partner Alma Reville(Mirren) during the making of his groundbreaking film, Psycho.
The chemistry between Hopkins and Mirren looks like a match made in heaven which will certainly open the eyes the Oscar Jury making the next Oscar fascinating viewing to see who they will leave out, who will win as this seems to be the strongest list in a long long time. Hitchcock looks like a film will challenge the awards not just in the main categories but all the categories psychically possible. Looking at the film on the whole if you enjoyed film like My Week With Marilyn you’ll enjoy Hitchcock however this film does look a lot more compelling and substantial.
Unfortunately here in UK&Ireland we have 4 months to wait until Hitchcock arrives on 23rd February 2013 hopefully the UK trailer wont be far behind when it arrives we’ll post it here. Fantastic supporting cast with Scarlett Johansson as Janet Leigh and Jessica Biel as Vera Miles,Danny Huston, Toni Collette, Michael Stuhlbarg, James D’Arcy, Michael Wincott, Richard Portnow, Kurtwood Smith.
