Ready Or Not 2 Gets Title And Announces Cast For Anticipated Sequel

The sequel to Ready Or Not has started production this week and has set its cast and title – with the sequel now known as Ready Or Not: Here I Come.
The follow-up will see Samara Weaving reprise her role of Grace from the first film, with Kathryn Newton already announced previously to co-star after appearing in directors Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett’s last film, Abigail.
Now, news via Variety confirms that Sarah Michelle Gellar (Buffy the Vampire Slayer), Elijah Wood (The Monkey), Kevin Durand (Abigail), Shawn Hatosy (The Pitt), Néstor Carbonell (The Dark Knight), and legendary filmmaker David Cronenberg are rounding out the cast.
Bettinelli-Olpin and Gillett return behind the camera with original writers Guy Busick and R. Christopher Murphy also returning.
Made for just $6 million, Ready or Not made over $57 million at the box office as well as being a huge hit on home formats and Disney+/Hulu in recent years. Adam Brody, Andie MacDowell, and Henry Czerny co-starred in the film with Weaving.
Searchlight Pictures president Matthew Greenfield added, “We’re beyond excited to make another film with the phenomenal Radio Silence. With ‘Ready or Not: Here I Come,’ we get to go on another ride with the amazing Samara Weaving, mix in awesome new voices and bring audiences a fresh take that’s every bit as twisted and fun as the first one. This is for those who’ve been waiting, and those who didn’t see it coming.”
No release date has yet been set for Ready Or Not: Here I Come.
