Rachel Brosnahan Stars In I’m Your Woman Watch Trailer

This December Julia Hart‘s I’m Your Woman will arrive on Amazon Prime. The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel’s Rachel Brosnahan leads the cast as a woman forced to go in the run.

Brosnahan will step up a decade to play a woman with a baby who is forced to go on the run. Largely thanks to learning about her husbands criminal life when he betrays his bosses. Putting his wife and child in serious danger.

This looks a slick film which looks to brilliantly captures the 1970’s. Slowly Brosnahan’s character adapts quickly which anyone has to do to survive that environment they are now in. One could argue ‘I’m Your Woman is a metaphorical film about being a woman nowadays. In an recent interview with EW, Hart did explain that reason “It’s such a powerful metaphor for what it means to be a woman in the world. I just feel like we are constantly on the run, dodging misogyny and trying to push the glass ceiling up. So much of the world is against women or wants women to fail, or doesn’t want us to succeed or come into our power. I often feel like we’re constantly on the run and having to rescue ourselves, and give ourselves permission to come into our own powers since the world doesn’t always seem to want us to.”

We did enjoy Fast Colour and we look forward to this one especially as Michael Mann‘s Thief seems to have inspired this one.

In this 1970s set crime drama, a woman is forced to go on the run after her husband betrays his partners, sending her and her baby on a dangerous journey.

The film also stars Marsha Stephanie Blake, Arinzé Kene, Frankie Faison, Bill Heck.

I’m Your Woman will be released globally on Amazon Prime from 11th December.
