In The Burnt Orange Heresy UK Trailer Things Aren’t Picture Perfect

You can’t paint over the truth as Sony Pictures Releasing release the UK Trailer for Giuseppe Capotondi‘s The Burnt Orange Heresy.
The film is based on the 1971 Charles Wilford novel set in the art world. Claes Bang stars as an ambitious art critic down in his luck but suddenly finds himself over his head. When an sinister acting art dealer who hires him to steal a rare piece of art. He becomes consumed by greed when things get out of control.
The shady art dealer is played by none other than Rolling Stones Mick Jagger. It’s the musician’s first acting role for nearly twenty years in The Man from Elysian Fields, only time will tell if it was worth the wait!
Charming and ambitious art critic, James Figueras (Claes Bang), has fallen from grace. He spends his days in Milan lecturing witless tourists about art history. His only glimmer of hope is a newfound love interest, the enigmatic American, Berenice Hollis (Elizabeth Debicki). An opportunity strikes when he is contacted by wealthy art dealer Joseph Cassidy (Mick Jagger) who summons James to his villa on Lake Como and asks him to steal a painting from the legendary reclusive artist, Jerome Debney (Donald Sutherland). Soon, James’ greed and ambition get the better of him, and he finds himself caught in a web of his own making.
The film co-stars Elizabeth Debicki, Rosalind Halstead and Donald Sutherland.
The Burnt Orange Heresy will be released in UK Cinemas from 30th October.
