Osgood Perkins Returns With Latest Horror Keeper; Watch The New Trailer
Black Bear have launched the brand new trailer for their upcoming horror film Keeper, which you can watch below!
The latest film from Longlegs and The Monkey director, Osgood Perkins, Keeper is the latest in his ever-expanding CV of modern horrors, with Monkey co-star and Emmy Award-winner Tatiana Maslany (Orphan Black) and Rossif Sutherland (Possessor, Orphan: First Kill) starring.
The film was shot in its entirety while work on The Monkey was held up due to the 2023 Hollywood labor disputes. Several of The Monkey‘s cast and crew in Canada were trying to find ways to keep working, so Perkins and Ferguson found a Canadian writer who was not part of the Writers Guild of America to write the script. They also hired Canadian actors who could waive their SAG-AFTRA status in order to film.
Official Synopsis:
Liz and Malcolm escape for a romantic anniversary weekend at a secluded cabin. When Malcolm suddenly returns to the city, Liz finds herself isolated and in the presence of an unspeakable evil that reveals the cabin’s horrifying secrets.
