Paramount Pictures has today released the first trailer for their upcoming horror film Primate, which you can watch below!

January is always a rich month for horror alongside the potential award-winning films before the Oscars, and Primate looks like being a rollacking ride at the movies. The film premiered at this year’s Fantastic Fest and was met with much applause and positive reactions. The film is directed by Johannes Roberts (Resident Evil: Welcome to Racoon City, 47 Metres Down) and stars Johnny Sequoyah, Jessica Alexander, Victoria Wyant, Gia Hunter, Benjamin Cheng, Charlie Mann, Tienne Simon and Academy Award Winner Troy Kotsur.

Synopsis:

In PRIMATE, a group of friends’ tropical vacation turns into a terrifying, primal tale of horror and survival. A college student and her friends find themselves in a fight for their lives when a rabid chimpanzee goes on a violent rampage.
