New Poster Released For Monsoon Starring Henry Golding
Peccadillo Pictures have released a brand new Poster to support their upcoming release of Monsoon.
Henry Golding has made a name for himself recently with the likes of Crazy Rich Asians, The Gentlemen. We’ll forget about his other film with Emilia Clarke and focus on his next project.
The film comes from the director of Lilting Hong Khaou. The film is a rich and poignant exploration of the struggle for identity in a place where the past weighs heavily on the present. Golding plays Kit, a gay British-Vietnamese manwho returns to Vietnam. 30 Years after fleeing the country. Returning to Saigon 24 years after he fled with his family, more a stranger. His journey does open Kit to possible friendship, love and happiness.

MONSOON is a rich and poignant reflection on the struggle for identity in a place where the past weighs heavily on the present.
Kit (Henry Golding, Crazy Rich Asians) returns to Ho Chi Minh City for the first time since he was six years old when his family fled the country in the aftermath of the Vietnam-American war. Struggling to make sense of himself in a city he’s no longer familiar with, he embarks on a personal journey across the country that opens up the possibility for friendship, love and happiness.
The film also stars Parker Sawyers, David Tran, and Molly Harris.
Monsoon is set for a UK &Irish Cinema release later in 2020.
