New Passengers Poster Give Starlord And Katniss A Reason To Wake Up

Next month Morten Tyldum‘s  sci-fi drama Passengers gives Chris Pratt and Jennifer Lawrence a reason to wake up, a new poster. With the movie, less than 7 weeks away Sony Pictures are getting ready to amp up the marketing, the new poster has been launched. A design that focuses on the main protagonists, simply because this is foremost a love story and a sci-fi drama. There is a white line splitting their faces, look closer it also looks like the space ship the pair are travelling in too. Does the beam the reason for the pair waking up early?

In Passengers, we meet Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Pratt are two passengers onboard a spaceship transporting them to a new life on another planet. The trip takes a deadly turn when their hibernation pods mysteriously wake them 90 years before they reach their destination. As Jim and Aurora try to unravel the mystery behind the malfunction, they begin to fall for each other, unable to deny their intense attraction… only to be threatened by the imminent collapse of the ship and the discovery of the truth behind why they woke up.

The promotion for the movie has been lightweight which is a shame for a movie with 2 big names in Hollywood and the American promotion has released a new TV Spot. The new promo is called ‘secret‘  it shows off a few new tidbits of footage giving us a narrative without spoiling too much. The reason for why  both of them woke up early seems to be the movie’s main selling point. The movie is looking more intriguing and showing us why some folks have Passengers as a must-see for 2016.
