L Confronts Light In New Netflix Death Note Clip

One wrong move the game will be over and now Netflix reveals a tense new clip for Death Note as the ‘players’ L and Light finally meet. If you have read the famous Japanese manga written by Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata, you’ll know this is a pivotal part of the story. This starts the infamous cat and mouse chase, the big question is, how will people react to this American live action version of the popular manga/Anime?

Based on the famous Japanese manga written by Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata, Death Note follows a high school student who comes across a supernatural notebook, realizing it holds within it a great power; if the owner inscribes someone’s name into it while picturing their face, he or she will die. Intoxicated with his new godlike abilities, the young man begins to kill those he deems unworthy of life.

You’re Next) and stars Nat Wolff (Paper Towns), Margaret Qualley (The Leftovers), Lakeith Stanfield (Get Out), Paul Nakauchi (Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End), Shea Whigham (American Hustle) and Willem Dafoe (Spider-Man) as the voice of Ryuk.

Death Note will first get a rare screening at this year’s Horror Channel Frightfest in London next week Death Note will be released exclusively on Netflix including UK & Ireland from 25th August.
