GFF 2013 – Watch UK Trailer & Poster For Richard Gere’s Arbitrage

When was the last time we had great film/performance and Richard Gere in the same sentence? A very longtime and we’re long over due one and that Arbitrage looks like will be that film and this afternoon we have the UK Trailer.Nicholas Jarecki’s Arbitrage earned Gere a Golden Globe nomination for best actor and after good positive run on the festival circuit which kicked off at 2012 Sundance festival the film is coming UK for a cinematic run.
In Arbitrage Robert Miller (Gere) a New York hedge-fund magnate who seems to be a portrait of a successful American business man as well as family man. Behinds the walls things are different desperate to sell his empire thanks to fatal error that’s destroying his life and could his families as well.
The UK trailer is a lot shorter than American trailer last year and if you had a look at that trailer it virtually was a spoiler friendly affair, thankfully this new trailer limits the spoils to the bear minimum. I haven’t seen the film but watching this 90 second trailer you can see why Richard Gere was nominated for a Golden Globe, very intense, much like the old Gere from when he was the pin-up boy of the 1980’s. With a great support cast behind him , Arbitrage looks a good solid drama thriller to check out next month.
Arbitrage is set for UK cinema release on 1st March however if your eager to see before it’s release date the film is making its UK premier at one final festival, Glasgow Film Festival on 18th & 19th February (more info here). The film also co-stars Susan Sarandon, Brit Marling, Tim Roth,Laetitia Casta, Nate Parker.
