FrightFest Halloween 2025 Line Up Has Crazy Animals and Paranoia
October horror fans hearts get colder with countdown to Halloween. The dark heart of cinema unveils it’s annual FrightFest Halloween event with crazy animals, paranoia and heavy metal mayhem.
The annual summer rendition, celebrated it’s 26th year and FrightFesters return ย to the ODEON Luxe West End in Leicester Square for theย annual 2-day Halloween event.ย The spine-chilling line-up heralds nine premieres from five countries, spanning Europe, North America, Australia/Oceania and Asia. Taking over both screens on Friday 31st October and Saturday 1st November, each film will be screened twice.
Theย nerve-jangling journey will also feature electrifying J-Horror, Turkish family terror, ancient Filipino monsters, maniac doll fetishists, timeless paranoia, and psychedelic serial killer thrills.
The cinematic seasonal gates to โHelloweenโ open with the UK premiere of Paramountโs killer chimp horror Primate. Directed by Johannes Roberts (47 Metres Down), a group of friendsโ tropical vacation turns into a terrifying, primal tale of horror and survival.ย This also stars Johnny Sequoyah, Jessica Alexander and Oscar winner Troy Kotsur. (There will be a specially recorded interview with Johannes hosted by Alan Jones, following the screening).
The Friday line -up will included the โBattle of the Bandsโ carnageย with the UK premiere of Deathgasm II: Goremageddon. the eagerly awaited sequel, directed by Jason Lei Howden, in which the fiery furnaces of Satanโs anus have brought forth nothing short of a โgoremageddonโ.
Friday closes with the UK premiere of Mickey Reeceโs Every Heavy Thing.ย a trippy comedic thriller revolving around a high-tech serial killer, which boasts an eclectic cast including Vera Drew, Barbara Crampton and Josh Fadem.
Saturday kicks off with the UK premiere of Rod Blackhurstโs twisted, woodland fairytale Dolly. Blendingย New French Extremity and 1970s American horror starring current NWA TV Champion Max The Impaler, aka The Non-Binary Nightmare, in the titular role of โDollyโ.
Next up will be the UK premiere of Affection , starring Scream Queen Jessica Rothe (Happy Death Day franchise)in B T Mezaโs gripping, intriguing and ultimately devastating dark science fiction tale of terror.
The World premiere of Posthouse, the debut feature by editor and co-writer Nikolas Red. Allย based on his own personal experience whilst editing his brother Mikhail Redโs 2018 shocker Eerie.

FrightFest Halloween 2025ย ends iwithย the UK premiere of Yuriyan Retriever debut supernatural chiller MAG MAG, the first film from K2 Pictures, founded by directors Takashi Miike, Hirokazu Koreeda and Miwa Nishikawa. This is destined to reinterpret the J-horror genre with a fresh perspective.
